We are currently recruiting and interviewing for more than 40 exciting full-time career positions on behalf of Canadian Railway Services – one of Canada’s top engineering, design and service providers in the rail industry who are opening a big, new shop in Squamish adjacent to the Squamish Railway Museum this spring.

The new CRWS team in Squamish will be working on iconic Rocky Mountaineer rail cars – rebuilding their heritage assets into luxury passenger cars that will welcome visitors from around the world.

Financial Controller
$105,000 – $125,000 per year
Leadership position responsible for accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance and internal controls.

Shop Supervisors / Foreman
$90,000 – $120,000 per year
Overseeing day-to-day operations. Provide leadership and uphold high-quality service and safety standards.

Heavy-Duty Rail Mechanics *Red Seal
$48-$60/hr with a Red Seal Certification
Inspect, repair, maintain and over-hall trains, passenger cars, freight cars and related mechanical systems.

Heavy-Duty Mechanics & Apprentices
$30-$45/hr based on experience
Assist with the over-halling, maintenance and repairs of trains, passenger cars and related mechanical systems.

Certified Structural Welders
$45-$55/hr based on experience
Performing high-quality structural welding and fabrication work on rail vehicles, components, and heavy steel assemblies.

Certified Electricians
$45-$55/hr based on experience
Inspect, install, maintain, repair and troubleshooting electrical systems on trains and railcars.

General Labourers
$26-$30/hr based on experience
Assist trades and support shop operations with a variety of tasks.

General Manager *FILLED*
$150,000 – $180,000 per year (negotiable)
Senior Leader responsible for managing the whole project and team.

Quality Inspector *FILLED*
$80,000 – $95,000 per year
Ensure all materials, components & work completed meets defined high standards.

Site Manufacturing Engineer *FILLED*
$90,000 – $120,000 per year
Translates engineering designs into efficient and safe processes & instructions.

Warehouse Coordinators *FILLED*
$50,000 – $75,000/yr based on experience
Manages the receipt, storage, tracking, and issuance of materials, parts, and equipment required for shop operations.

Facilities Maintenance Techs *FILLED*
$30-$35/hr based on experience
Responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the facility, offices and shop areas.
