Now hiring a full time Administrative Assistant for a large organization in Squamish, BC to provide support to their housing and facilities division. Ideal for someone with at least 3 years of experience who would like to further develop their skills within a corporate environment. Offering a starting wage in the range of $24-$28/hr plus vacation pay.
About the Role, Benefits & Perks:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday position that will run 10 months with potential for expansion or longer-term.
- Typical hours are 8:30am to 5pm with some flexibility.
- Training wage of $23/hr to start, progressing to $27/hr upon completion of 20 shifts (4 weeks).
- Plus 4% Vacation Pay paid out each week.
The Perfect Candidate:
- Must have 2+ years of administrative experience in office or operations settings.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
- High accuracy in data entry with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with invoicing, record-keeping, and administrative systems.
- Reliable, proactive, and adaptable.
- Flexible and willing to support additional administrative needs as required.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide administrative support to the housing and facilities manager.
- Improve efficiency, maintain accurate records and tracking systems, and support operational and office requirements.
- Manage invoice retrieval, tracking, and payment status records.
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial and administrative documents.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain databases and spreadsheets.
- Prepare and format reports, summaries, and presentations.
- Oversee key management, including tracking, inventory, and record updates.
- Maintain and update internal tracking systems and operational records.
- Assist with administrative process improvements and workflow consistency.
- Track operational metrics and compile reports for management review.
- Support office operations through errands, scheduling, and additional coordination tasks as needed.
