Mountain Orthodontics provides orthodontic care for children, teens, and adults in Squamish, BC.
Mountain Orthodontics is looking for an enthusiastic, skilled, and patient-focused Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) with a completed Orthodontic Module preferred, but not required to join our team in beautiful Squamish, BC.
This position requires a motivated individual who is detail-oriented, compassionate, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. About the Role, Benefits & Perks:
- Full-time or Part-time, year round.
- Monday-Friday work week.
- 3–5 days per week, with flexibility based on mutual agreement.
- Squamish, BC.
- $37-40 for a certified dental assistant who is willing to complete the orthodontic module and sees a long-term career as an orthodontic certified dental assistant.
- $40-43 for an experienced certified dental assistant with a completed orthodontic module.

The Perfect Candidate:
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) in BC.
- Has a completed Orthodontic Module.
- Has orthodontic assisting experience, preferably in a clinical orthodontic practice.
- Newer orthodontic assistants with the right attitude and strong clinical fundamentals are also encouraged to apply.
- Is confident, organized, reliable, and patient-focused.
- Enjoys working with children, teenagers, and families.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Works well as part of a team.
- Is interested in learning, developing, and growing with the practice.
Responsibilities Include:
- Instrument sterilization.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare the treatment room with necessary instruments and materials.
- Appliance delivery, adjustments and removal.
- Lab work as needed.
- Patient education re braces, appliance wear and care.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations
- Helping create a positive and comfortable experience for children, teens, and adults.
