This Squamish based Autobody shop is seeking an experienced Automotive Collision Technician with a good mechanical aptitude, good interpersonal and leadership skills, and the ability to work well independently .

About the Role, Benefits & Perks:
- Full-time, year-round, Monday to Friday
- Open to a part-time or flexible schedule arrangements
- Hourly wages + Quarterly bonuses
- Red Seal $36-$40/hr;
- Experienced Technician $30 – $35/hr, based on experience
- Quarterly bonuses adding up to $8,000 – $16,000 per year, depending on team performance
- Extended health care and benefits available after 3 months.
- Training and recertification sponsorship offered.
- Travel allowance available for those not based in Squamish.
The Perfect Candidate:
- Auto Body and Collision Red Seal certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an automotive collision technician or similar role.
- The ability to research, understand and follow all OEM repair procedures.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment related to collision repair.
- ICAR Gold or Platinum is an asset.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Responsibilities Include:
- Inspecting vehicles to assess the extent of damage post-collision.
- Performing repairs on vehicles using techniques such as welding, grinding, and painting.
- Removing and replacing damaged body panels and parts accurately and efficiently.
- Aligning vehicle frames and bodies to pre-collision specifications.
- Utilizing diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot issues with electrical systems and mechanical components.
- Ensuring all repairs are completed in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace while adhering to shop safety policies.
