Now hiring an Executive Assistant (part time) for a dynamic non-profit organization in the Sea to Sky region. Ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive experience supporting executive leadership, streamlining operations, and managing diverse administrative tasks.

About the Role, Benefits & Perks:
- Salary Range: $30 – $40 per hour based on experience
- Schedule: 20-25 hours per week, remote / hybrid
- Flexible schedule, able to work a variety of days and hours and attend local events.
The Perfect Candidate:
- Thorough knowledge various technical applications – Google Workspace, Canva, QBO and Squarespace
- Thorough knowledge and experience with social media applications: Facebook, Linked’in and InstagramExcellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Expert organizational skills, task-driven, strong administrative skills
- Resourceful, self-directed, results-oriented, excels within a Team environment
- Knowledge of local government processes.
- Knowledge and experience with bookkeeping and QuickBooks Online
- Creative design experience with Canva, presentations, graphics and design.
- Creative marketing / communications skills
- Administrative skills including writing, attention to detail and bookkeeping
- Event planning and organization
- Teamwork and experience with uniting/facilitation of stakeholders, building relationships
- Preference given to candidates that live in Squamish or West Vancouver.
Responsibilities Include:
- Event Planning and logistics for up to eight events per year.
- Attends functions and manages logistics for outreach events
- Supporting the Board Secretary – ensuring forms and filings for the non-profit charity are managed.
- Editing, writing and research for correspondence, reports, web and social media postings and taking meeting minutes
- Assist in completing applications for grants, council delegations and more.
- Communications support, corresponding, formatting documents, promotional materials, event invitations, and updating the Squarespace website, managing images and communication materials
- Bookkeeping – processing and filing invoices and receipts into QBO, tracking subscriptions, renewal dates and budgets.
- Organizing meetings, arranging schedules,
- Maintaining information for various procedures, policy documents, and plans.
- Tracks inventory
- Supports the Executive Director as needed
SCHEDULE BREAKDOWN (approx.)
- Board Support: ~ 4 hours per month = ~ 48 hrs annually
- Event Planning: ~ 24 hours per event x 6 = ~ 144 hrs annually
- Communications: ~ 32 hours per month = ~ 384 hrs annually
- Bookkeeping: ~ 3 hours a week = ~ 144 hrs annually
- General admin organizing meetings etc: ~ 144 hrs annually
- Research, maintaining procedures 6 hours per month: ~72 hrs annually
- Attending events/outreach: ~ 60 hrs annually
