Part-Time administrative shifts w potential for long term

Are you an administrative superstar looking for 3+ months of work? We’re looking for an organizational mastermind who may also potentially be interested in a long term role in Squamish. Is that you?
Temp work is about picking the shifts YOU want WHEN you want.
  • DATES: FLEXIBLE – tell us what your ideal schedule is. Preferably 3 days a week (Mon, Wed & Fri default unless requested otherwise) 3+ months
  • HOURS: Flexible – usually 9am-5.30pm
  • LOCATION: Squamish Railshop
  • DUTIES INCLUDE: Assisting with the office administration and organization in a mechanical shop. Supporting the leadership team and assisting with general administrative tasks such as email correspondence and record keeping. Includes managing calendars, booking appointments, organizing interviews, coordinating and tracking team rosters and timesheets, purchasing and coordinating office supplies and pitching in where needed.
  • SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 
    • Minimum of 2 years of prior office administrative experience required with preference given to someone who has worked in a mechanical or industrial environment.
    • Must be Highly proactive and highly organized; can prioritize and multi-task and work efficiently. Very good communicator – verbally and written – with strong interpersonal skills.
    • Computer savvy and proficient in office programs such Excel, Word, Outlook / Gmail, Google Calendar etc.
    • Must be able to work well independently without a lot of supervision and happy to pitch in where needed.
    • Note: shop office is located on the 3rd floor of an older building with no elevator access so must be okay with managing lots of stairs.Apply Now

WAGES:  $26 to $30/hr + 4% vacation pay + BONUSES

    • Squamish Personnel uses a progressive pay system that awards pay increases based on the number of Successful Shifts* completed. The more you work with us, the more you get paid per hour!
    • HIGHER WAGES are also available for experienced employees or Team Leads, and many shifts include extra bonuses per hour.
    • SUPERHERO BONUSES of an extra $2-$4/hr are often offered for last minute shifts!
    • All wages also receive an extra  4% vacation pay on top.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT:

    • Proby (Tier 1) = $20/hr to start
    • Regular (Tier2) = $22/hr after 10 Successful Shifts
    • Hero (Tier 3) = $24/hr after 20 Successful Shifts

*Successful Shifts = be on time, work hard and make our clients happy.  These can be in any temp position with Squamish Personnel.
