Bartender / Server

Cliffside Cider is a locally owned craft cidery and tasting room in downtown Squamish, bringing an adventurous spirit to every pour.  Seeking a friendly, reliable bartender to serve craft cider and other beverages, connect with locals and visitors, and help create a welcoming atmosphere.  Join the team if you enjoy great service, good company, and sharing a passion for local craft beverages.

About the Role, Benefits & Perks:

• Part-Time
• Squamish, BC
• 15–30 hours per week, with a flexible schedule.
• $18.25 per hour to start.
• Flexible scheduling, with 15–30 hours per week tailored to your availability.

• We are open 7 days per week.
• Winter hours of operation are 3-11 Mon to Thurs, 12-12 Friday and Saturday, 12-9  Sunday.

The Perfect Candidate: 

• Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
• Valid Serving It Right certification.
• Able to manage a busy bar while keeping service friendly and efficient.
• Comfortable using a POS system, handling payments, and checking identification.
• Reliable, punctual, and available for evening and weekend shifts.
• Committed to keeping the bar clean, organized, and stocked.

Responsibilities Include: 

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Guide guests through our cider selection and offer tastings and recommendations.
• Take orders, process payments through Square POS, and handle cash accurately.
• Restock beverages, glassware, and supplies throughout each shift.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation.
• Work with the team to keep service running smoothly during busy periods and events.
