We are looking for a floor manager at Valhalla Pure Outfitters in Squamish!
The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory/management experience, will have worked in outdoor retail and have strong interpersonal skills.

We strive to create a positive and fun work environment, while keeping staff focused and productive in a busy retail store. We are looking for a manager with similar goals and mindset.

JOB TITLE: Floor Manager – Outdoor Retail
LOCATION: Squamish, BC
TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Full Time
JOB SUMMARY:
  • Full time, 5 days per week.  One weekend day may be required.
  • Starting wage is $24 to $26 per hour based on experience.

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE – Qualifications & Skills:
  • Previous management/HR/supervisory experience.
  • Outdoor retail sales experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff and customers.
  • Work well in a team environment.
  • Enjoy teaching and training.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Loves the outdoors.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Day to day management of the floor and sales staff.
  • Sales and customer service.
  • Managing inter staff relations, HR.
  • Communicating with staff (staff check-ins, conflict resolution, etc.)
  • Communicating with store managers.
  • Fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Hiring, scheduling and training employees.
SCHEDULE DETAILS:
  • Full-time: (5 day per week) floor position with a minimum 2 year commitment.
  • One weekend day may be required.
SALARY / WAGE RANGE:
  • Starting wage is $24 to $26 per hour based on experience.
