In search of an experienced and innovative Bookkeeper to manage the business accounting needs at this long time local company.  Ideally suited for someone with 2+ years experience in full-cycle bookkeeping who’s business-minded and takes initiative.

Offering $70,000 to $80,000 per year based on experience with potential for growth, plus extended health benefits, career growth and working with a passionate team of innovative thinkers!

About the Role, Benefits & Perks:  

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with some flexibility.
    • Open to discussion a condensed work week based on candidate preference.
  • Starting salary in the range of $70,000 to $80,000 per year depending on experience with the potential for increases based on performance.

The Perfect Candidate: 

  • 2 to 4+ years experience in full-cycle bookkeeping is preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and Accounting systems (ie: Quickbooks); able to learn new processes and programs easily.
  • Motivated, self-starter who is performance driven and energetic.
  • Big picture and business-minded; enjoys improving processes and being involved in the overall business financials including forecasting and cash flow management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; business communications for all correspondence.
  • Excellent attention to detail with great time management and organizational skills.
  • Innovative and focused on learning and self-improvement; career-minded and wants to learn & grow.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Primary responsibility is full cycle bookkeeping duties: manage all accounts payable and receivable, reconcile cash, bank accounts and revenues,
  • Remitting payroll, income, sales and use taxes, payroll management, forecasting and cash flow management.
  • General administration responsibilities can include assisting with human resources: develop job ads and recruitment, maintain office staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing and approving supply requisitions, assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
