This is an exciting opportunity for someone handy who wants to learn and master a trade with a trusted, industry leader with over 50 years of service in the Sea to Sky corridor as a Window and Door Installation Technician. Based in Squamish this position is ideal for someone looking for year round stability, career growth and supportive leadership. Offering a starting wage in the range of $30-$35/hr with room for negotiation and growth based on a candidate’s qualifications.
About the Role, Benefits & Perks:
- Full-time, year-round career position.
- Schedule is typically Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm (40hrs per week) with some flexibility

The Perfect Candidate:
- 2+ years experience working in the construction industry.
- Direct installation experience is beneficial but not required, training provided.
- Strong working knowledge of power tools, saws, drills and measuring devices.
- Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods and climb ladders.
- Fridently customer service skills to interact with clients.
- Reliable and able to work independently.
- Able to supply own hand tools, tool belt, cordless drill w/ bits, hammer, knife, nail bar, tape measure. *TBC – is there a tool allowance for this?
- Knowledge of building code and fall prevention rules when working at heights an asset.
- Driver’s license is an asset but not required.
Responsibilities Include:
- Remove old windows, doors, frames safely without damaging surrounding walls.
- Take precise measurements and level openings to fit new prefabricated products.
- Secure and install windows, doors and garage doors using hand and power tools.
- Perform light carpentry including the installation of cladding, soffit, trims and other exterior products.
- Apply foam, caulking and weatherstripping to prevent air and water leaks.
- Clean debris and leave work site safe and tide.
