About the Role, Benefits & Perks:
- Part-Time or Full-time, year round.
- Squamish, BC.
- $18.00 – $23.00 per hour, based on experience and availability.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
The Perfect Candidate:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
- Proven customer service or retail experience is a plus.
- Daytime availability preferred
- Great attention to detail.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Experience with order writing and supervision an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist customers to the appropriate aisle or shelve to assist with purchasing decisions.
- A Market Team Member’s responsibilities include maintaining a clean work environment, organizing food displays, and stocking shelves with products for customers to buy.
- Ensure the store is clean, safe and ready for shoppers.
- Process cash register payments by cash, credit card, gift card, and debit.
- Wrap and place merchandise in bags / carts.
- Balance and reconcile cash at end of work shift.
- Maintaining and building various grocery department displays.
- Rotation, loading and unloading of grocery department product.
- Stock and replace products to avoid any damagesKeep shelves fully stocked with fresh products.
- Backroom and inventory management.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
