A Squamish-based accommodation and catering company is looking for an organized Administrative Assistant for an 8-week temporary assignment at their head office. Ideally suited for someone who service oriented with versatile administrative skills.

About the Role, Benefits & Perks:

  • Starting August 30th or September 5th for 8-weeks.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm with half hour lunch break.
  • Preference will be given to those who can commit to the full 8 weeks.
  • Wages – $22 to $25 per hour
    • Whistler Personnel uses a progressive pay system that awards pay increases based on number of Successful Shifts completed.  The more you work with us, the more you get paid per hour!
    • Tier 1 – $22/hr to start plus 4% vacation pay
    • Tier 2 – $24/hr after 5 Successful Shifts plus 4% vacation pay
    • Tier 3 – $25/hr after 10 Successful Shifts plus 4% vacation pay

The Perfect Candidate: 

  • 2+ years administrative experience plus great customer service skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite 365, Adobe and CRM systems.
  • Knowledge and experience in IT, Social Media and Digital Marketing.
  • Professional and courteous attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and able to manage multiple projects, tasks and meet key deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, confident, team-oriented and can maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Answering and directing phone calls and managing front reception.
  • Filing, photocopying and general office duties.
  • Purchase office supplies and support operations purchasing requirements.
  • Prepare office meeting agendas, meeting minutes and action items.
  • Support management teams with scheduling, meeting preparation, IT support, calendar sharing and file directory management.
  • Oversee email accounts, cell phone accounts and re-occurring office and administrative related accounts and contracts.
  • First Point of contact for IT support and troubleshooting.  Coordinating IT support with outside contractor.
  • Maintain cloud based server and file directory, administrative access, on-line subscriptions, passwords, and login credentials.
  • Assist sales and marketing with website and social media updates, stationery and signage and participate with marketing initiatives as needed.
