About the Role, Benefits & Perks:

The Perfect Candidate:

  • 1 to 5 years of experience in a similar role; strong administrator with experience in full cycle bookkeeping.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy when entering information.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; friendly and professional in all correspondence.
  • Team Player and willing to jump in where needed.
  • Recognized accounting education is an asset.
  • Motivated self-starter who is organized, can prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in and knowledge of Quickbooks Online and MS Office Suite.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the Controller with bookkeeping and the general manager with administrative tasks around the office.
  • Accounts Receivable – prepare and send client invoices with accurate information, receive and record payments, follow up with overdue accounts.
  • Accounts Payable – timely data entry of payables, accurate account coding, process payments to vendors.
  • Reporting – prepare financial statements, P&L reports, monthly government remittance reporting, etc.  Assist with bank reconciliations.
  • Membership Management – managing new and existing members information, renewals, correspondence.
  • Basic Administrative tasks as needed including filling, correspondence, maintaining records.
