Looking for more than just another shop job?   OK Tire & Auto Service is hiring a full-time Automotive Service Technician (Red Seal or equivalent).  Join a locally owned business that offers a positive team culture, hands-on management, and a supportive environment where your skills and experience are valued.  Offering a wage of $26 – $38 per hour with group health services plan, and use of shop after hours.  

About the Role, Benefits & Perks:

  • Full-time, year round.
  • Squamish, BC.
  • Saturday, 9:00 – 5:30pm, 40 hour work week.
  • Flexible scheduling and four day work week optional.
  • $26 to $38 per hour based on experience.
  • Group health services plan.
  • Use of shop after hours, on site parking.

The Perfect Candidate: 

  • Experience in tire and wheel services, as well as brakes, suspension, alignments, exhaust repairs and diagnosing mechanical issues.
  • Able to communicate to both staff and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Own supply of general trade tools.
  • Have a clean class 5 drivers license.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Require a hands on self motivated person who can work well with a team.
  • Responsible for filling out work orders, writing out estimates, and discussing options with customers.
  • The day to day work flow is a scheduled hourly calendar with very few surprises.
